As the testing coordinator from February 2012-14, I showed the willingness and skills to observe, mentor and train other teachers by organizing and leading standardization sessions. For example in September 2013 I trained 20 teachers. I also ensured that our teachers were fully briefed on testing procedures and assisted them in developing and mastering their skills as far as the oral placement tests were concerned. Furthermore, I also improved all the placement testing resources to follow the British Council standards and kept them up-to-date and in confidentiality. I liaised and communicated regularly with the Management Team, Customer Service staff, front line officers and teachers in order to establish the most suitable placement testing schedules for our clients. Moreover, I took a pro-active attitude to my role of coordinator, suggesting and making changes to testing timetables, offering placement testing slots more accessible to stakeholders’ needs. For example, I increased the number of students from 2000 to 2600 in February 2012. As a line manager and a mentor to trainee teachers and my line managees, I am responsible for mentoring, observing lessons and providing feedback to aid teacher advancement. Since September 2012, I have been involved in developing, evaluating and delivering a number of INSETT sessions for the Teacher Support Programme (TSP) in Agouza Teaching Centre e.g. Inductive and Deductive approaches, Assessing Writing, Functional Language etc. I have received positive written feedback from both trainee teachers and management. In September 2014 I became an active team member for recruiting new TSPs. I have assisted planning and managing the Training and Registration Days to ensure that all teachers are involved in different input sessions and workshops. I have successfully completed the IELTS Examiner Trainer exams and then training. From December 2014 I took on the Examiner Trainer responsibilities. In February I prepared and led the standardization eight-hour workshop for 10 existing IELTS examiners. In Feb 2015 I trained 12 new IELTS examiners and got positive feedback from all participants. In addition, I have monitored several active IELTS examiners to ensure that they follow all required procedures and their rating is up to the PSN standards. I have been working as the Senor Teacher Training for a couple of years. I have written several input sessions for our TSP teachers (teachers who completed their CELTA and would like to start their DELTA but need more practical and theoretical knowledge). I have trained and observed some mentors who help me to run the TSP smoothly. I am a flexible team player with the ability to work with colleagues from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

I was responsible for Grade 5 and 6. I was a part time English Language Teacher. I was also responsible for training less experienced teachers.
