(1/3) ADMIN, OPERATIONS and LEGAL:
● Setting up companies in various jurisdictions to enable transaction of business, importation of goods, rent payments etc, including tax-neutral companies of IBC-type of incorporation in the Caribbean;
● drafting commercial and admin contracts, bilingual contracts;
● full scope governance of logistics operations with customs authorities across jurisdictions (UK customs, Russian & EU customs;
● preparing management accounts for the Board;
● participation in Board process on recurring Board meetings;
● supporting international B2G sales and a portion of B2C own marketplace worldwide sales;
● legal representation in courts including a series of hearings vs Russian customs leading to a favorable ruling;
● supervision of volume production orders placed across facilities in Southern China in Shenzhen area and Hong Kong;
● interaction with customs authorities across geographies, including close interaction with customs in UK, Russia and People's Republic of China
● Tax and VAT reporting with HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs);
● Frequent business traveler to China (5 journeys in 2018);
● Aligning in-house 'transact clean' practices to established habits exercised locally;
(2/3) FINANCE:
● making projections on costs and revenue distribution in management financials;
● shifted to keeping consolidated accounts of worldwide operations in a cloud-based ERP system (adapted to UK-GAAP);
● ensuring the new cloud aligns historically with the figures filed with national tax supervision bodies;
● reporting VAT sales in Europe & filing VAT returns with HMRC in UK;
● integrating cloud-based ERP software into daily financial management procedures;
● overseeing payments to subcontractors & expense claims by in-house and other project staff;
● servicing borrowed capital repayments to investors in UK;
● aligning chart of accounts with the nature of project cost and revenue bills;
● hiring local accountants to file with Russian authorities;
● drafted agreements with investors to either dilute shareholding in the company or agree a %APR to service intake of liability
● preparing management accounts, taking assumptions of forecasts in financials;
● Monitoring services in FinTech to match business exposure internationally in multi-currency operating environment (corporate accts with Revolut, Transferwise and other fintech services offering multi-currency EFTs);
(3/3) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
● 2015-2018 embedded a closed-circuit diving unit (rebreather) initially designed by a UK design house for non-NATO markets in Asia and Oceania into purchasing programs of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardiya and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Organized acceptance of the unit by the military commissioning process and closed the sale to the above mentioned agencies.
● embedding our product involving IT firmware, custom-design AISICS and mech solutions into purchasing programs of non-state buyers primarily in the West;
● closely observed purchasing budgets among government agencies of business interest to take business action;
● collected and analyzed privileged information through professional communities to align business offer with state customer policies;
● sticking to lean cost of sale management whilst ensuring compliance with government policies set for suppliers in defense tenders;
PRESENT STATE: After the company's withdrawal from Russian operations dealing with residual group-level admin tasks, banks reconciliation, w-wide financials and VAT reporting in UK; subcontractor to this organization since early 2019;
